Starting with kernel 6.5 the external Bluetooth USB dongle based on
Realtek stop working.
This issue occurs on either UBuntu 22.04, 23.10 and 24.04 when kernel
version is > 6.5. On a lower kernel version it works as we were using it
for almost 2 years without issues.

Just a thought for newbies Even though after update computer doe not

I still see this as well. I also notice that when hovering over the bar
after this starts happening, it resizes by a few px.
It also results in things like remmina no longer populating it OR the
top bar with its icons.
I do have gnome-tweaks installed, and seems that the resizing issue goes

I installed some updates using the "updates are available" GUI and when
updating rsyslog, a GUI prompt for resolving a changed
/etc/rsyslog.d/50-default.conf appeared, and I picked "view diff between
versions", however the update process continued, saving the dist one as
/etc/
Find fast fix:
systemctl disable avahi-daemon
apt-get --reinstall install avahi-daemon OR apt-get upgrade
systemctl enable avahi-daemon

You're right, after removing ~/.config the bug doesn't reproduce any

the old .config backed up.
