As far as I remember the Imonc-gDesklets package (v0.6) provides 5
different Desklets (FTB, Gauges, SideCandy, SideCandy-XCon and
SideStripes). Which one did you try?
Some more information (like the log file) would be helpful, too.

Just a quick note for the "Could not import tiling module!" error.
This error occurs (AFAIK) when there are some links missing.
When compiling from source, you will have to do the following in your gDesklets
source directory:
cd utils
ln -s .libs/*.so .
cd ../libdesklets/system
ln -s .libs/*.so
Released with gDesklets 0.36.2.

Well, I cannot confirm this bug to be a "general" gDesklets bug as I am
using gDesklets on ubuntu intrepid without any errors.
So we need more information, like:
- what does "using gDesklets pager" exactly mean
- what desklets are you using and are ALL of them crashing when right clicking
on them

Hello!
I really have no clue where this "aurora" thing is coming from. Obviously the
tiling module (or wallpaper.py) is looking for it, but there is no reason why
it should be doing so.
A simple "grep -r aurora *" in the gDesklets (code) directory doesn't show up
anything...

This error just tells you that a specific Control could not be found.
The Time Control has been changed in 0.36 and has now a new ID.
The clock Desklet you are using is looking for a Control named "ITime" with the
ID "5oak91gpdt1dyiepbqmn48plp-2".
So now either there is no ITime Control installed

incompatible with newer versions of gDesklets and has never been updated by the
author (as far as I know).

I am just trying to install my first DomU (following
