I started a drag & drop of a folder in Evolution, which reproducibly
hangs after a few seconds, leaving the X server locked up with a grab.
I went to the text console and killed -9 the evolution process.
Afterwards, I found following errors were in my ~/.xsession-errors log:
I have a similar problem with snd_hda_codec_hdmi loosing the first 1 or
2 seconds of audio every time pulseaudio reopens the /dev/snd/* device.
I worked it around by commenting out module-suspend-on-idle in
/etc/pulse/default.pa, but i wish there were a way to make the audio
output recover faster.

I SOLVED my problem by resetting the gtk color scheme:
dconf reset /org/gnome/desktop/interface/gtk-color-theme
Considering that the GUI to edit this setting is gone, this is an

icon is still present on the dock. Nothing happens if I click on it and
there's no obvious way to remove it.
It would be good if Unity could detect that Expo is disabled and hide

user doesn't notice, the laptop might continue to run when stored inside
a bag and overheat to dangerous levels.

Thanks Murz. Your proposed workaround did not solve the issue for me. I
can now reproduce both on lucid and on oneiric, using the same headset.

jWin bluetooth headphones. The only way I have to reconnect the
headphones is deleting the device and repairing it.

On my laptop, it's now reproducible on *every* boot!
If I start with break=bottom, manually move all the mountpoints to /root
and then call run-init by hand, I get the same error:
