In LibreOffice on Natty 11.04, non breaking spaces before punctuation
mark are not applied in fr-CA locale.
When I check in Format -> Autocorrect -> AutoCorrect options, there is a
localized option tab with "Add non breaking spaces before spe
I experience the same behavior using gwibber-daily on Karmic and normal
gwibber on Lucid i386.
I get Twitter responses, twitter search, but I can't get twitter

To the opposite of ebrjvd, but confirming what ttoine experienced, the
issue seems completely solved for me. (See previous comments, I clearly
had the issue in jaunty).
My machine is alive and running since 3 days, did multiple recording
sessions on it, downloaded tons of data, reproduced what mad

Tested Stéphane's libxcb PPA's packages on Jaunty, on two different machines
- thinkpad X41 with Jaunty32bits , with 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller:
Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03)
- HP Pavilion a1610n AMD64x2 on Jaunty 64bits with 00:05.0 VGA com
I experienced the same thing after the latest kernel upgrade in
Intrepid. I thought the issue was Intrepid related, I upgraded to Jaunty
since I wanted to upgrade ;-)
Issue wasn't fixed by that, so giving the messages already listed, I

To troubleshoot, either
- try to open inkscape doing "DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0 inkscape" if tcp connections
to X are allowed
- ssh -X y...@localhost , and start inkscape.
You are going to experience the trouble.

The fix works for Installing new dictionnairies, I suppose for all
macros too. It works as expected, doesn't crash at all.

OpenOffice.org writer crashes
Same thing here, tried on Gusty, and OOo crashes. The other problem
besides that is that OOo keeps on crashing when it tries to recover
DicOOO , which causes it to crash again, and again.
You have to cancel the recovery process to make it work again. Not sure
that a "normal" user will do that.
