By now I found out about another part of the issue.
In dispcalgui I had created a profile with red and green channels
swapped. This is the default. Apparently Firefox doesn't support this
type of ICC profile any more. So I created a profile in which the
colours are not swapped. This seems to work

Ok I think I know what the manifestation of the problem is. The green
and red channels are swapped. Have a look at

Thanks for the quick reaction.
With gfx.color_management.mode set to 2,
- colors are unmanaged when gfx.color_management.display_profile is empty,
- colors are managed in the incorrect way when
gfx.color_management.display_profile has the file name of the profile.

Hey there,
me too, I've experienced this bug during the last few days. Seems to
happen randomly -- but only with Firefox. Whereas that is the only
Mozilla software I'm using, there's no Sunbird or Thunderbird or
anything installed here.
Is there anything I can do to collect information or help ot
