I'm using GNU octave frequently, here I wanted to work on a simple
analysis problem. Then, octave crashed. I came up with a minimal input
set to reproduce the crash:
$ octave --no-gui
(I know that the GUI is recommended, however, I'm a strong supporter of
"headless" software
