Binary package hint: acpi
ACPI is not working properly on Sony VAIO PCV-RX650. To fix this, user
must pass a acpi=force option to system kernel, otherwise computer will
not power off on shutdown. Bug is old, but it's still not fixed.

Maybe you'll want to update to Firefox 3.5.1 from Mozilla official site.
It's faster with more features, no problems in Jaunty.
