Possibly due to the fact that my router is a Netgear WNDR3700, and you
cannot set a fixed 20Hz/40Hz bandwidth, only "up to 300 MBps". Not an
issue for 2.4 GHz networks. Yes, the 432b supports an just fine in

Have tested with latest CD; is still an issue with both Intel and Nvidia
GPUs. I believe that this may be an issue centered around the Toshiba BIOS.

This error is not fixed in newer kernels such as 2.6.31-3 generic on
Karmic Koala Alpha 3 x64.

You received this bug notification because
Issue remains with latest 9.10 Karmic Koala Alpha 3 LiveCD 64-bit
version.
With default free driver, system would hang. With proprietary NVidia
driver, (installed via "Hardware Drivers" and doing sudo /etc/init.d/gdm
restart) the issue is exactly the same. Hibernate could not be tested

I have the same problem with a Lenovo-branded AR5008 that I installed in
my Toshiba Tecra M7. I have heard about compatibility issues between
this chipset and the Intel 945 or 965 chipsets, I can't remember.
However, I get good reliability in Windows and Mac; it's just Linux and

I tried s2ram with all of the arguments listed on the OpenSUSE wiki, and
none worked. I guess that is not really a surprise: I am convinced that
the issue is either my BIOS or the Linux kernel. I have the latest

This time all of the hibernate tests succeeded, so I have attached the

for the duplicates; feel free to just read the "after" versions.

I posted this bug previously, but it was closed since my packages
weren't up to date when I last ran the tests at the

Note, I have not tried blacklisting intel_agp or any of the other

Disabling bluetooth (and possibly WIFI if that switch now properly controls

That said, even with radios off and SD card removed, sleep still hangs

Hi, I will use the VT1 tests when I have access to a second PC at the same

command that sends my system reeling. When I do suspend normally, there

System hangs, and Ctrl-Alt-Bkspc doesn't help; neither does Ctrl-Alt-F*.
With other versions, occasionally I would just get logged out and then
in again. I have never had suspend/resume working, with any
