I can confirm the bug. In my case, I have to do a /etc/init.d/networking
restart to get the network to work after a reboot and even then GAIM
doesn't connect automatically. This is indeed, a major bug in Feisty.

I have a Dell XPS m1210 laptop and the microphone input doesn't work at
all on Edgy (and on Dapper). The sound output works just fine. The chip
is an Intel HDA one. More info below:

I like my virtual terminals in 1024x768 resolution and thus I have always used
`vga=791` as a kernel parameter to get 1024x768 at the virtual terminals.
This worked fine with Dapper but it breaks the splash screen in Edgy. The
splash looks totally off-center both horizontall

application and it doesn't support i18n.

I have a Dell XPS m1210 and I can reproduce the bug here. The
--directisa switch didn't help at all. Now my laptop doesn't boot and I
have to figure out a way to reset its BIOS somehow.

I can reproduce the bug on my Dell XPS m1210 laptop. --directisa fixes it
though it still consumes quite a bit of CPU and time while it works.
And in my case, `hwclock --directisa --show` gives no output.
