after reinstalling the package, and delete the local store + cookies it started
to work

Sorry for lack of answer, i had little free time recently.
I have just upgraded to Xubuntu 13.10 about a month ago, and i tested the above
error, and found it is still happening.
Since i have a workaround now (switch in both monitors before startup,) i can
live with it. Anyone finds this issue

my problem started about a week ago or so, which is suspiciouly near to

I am experiencing the same problem with Xubuntu 12.04, Xorg open source
ati driver ,and an AGP X1950Pro 256M video card.
Right after login i land to a black screen, by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1 i can log
