Okay here we go. See below for the requested prints. I have made some
changes, hoping that this was a general intel driver issue, to the
xorg.conf. This did not work. I should also mention that additionally it
is not possible to enable Compiz. Please advice if you need any other
information, and if
I have been working on a friends laptop to sort this bug out for a
while, but unsuccessfully. I will come back shortly with a print of
lspci -vvnn, /var/log/Xorg.0.log, /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
