I upgraded from 15.04 and both kmix and plasma-pa are installed. This
presents a problem since there are two volume controls on the system
tray. Turning off kmix fixing the system tray, but like the bug
description says, the keyboard controls no longer work without kmix.

No change. This controller still doesn't work.
I believe all that needs to be done is add the deviceid and vendorid
into the xpad configuration file when it is built and say the controller
is an Xbox One controller.

QtCurve even though it is set.
K3b uses the wrong colors for it.

Kernel 2.6.25-2 that's in the Intrepid repos also fixed the problem. I
would use it, but the fglrx drivers don't work with that kernel for some
reason.
This is a pretty major bug and should be quashed quickly.

I've downloaded and installed the QtCurve theme for KDE4 (using Kubuntu
8.10) and have set it to be the widget style in System Settings. When I
log out (sometimes) (and sometimes even in the same session), the widget
setting will revert
I can also confirm this bug on Kubuntu 8.10.
Using the same mount options in 8.04 worked fine. In 8.10, files can be
created, renamed, or deleted, but are NOT able to edit.
IE: Using Kate, I can open a file but can't save it. It is able to
create its backup files.
