I've been doing some debugging and the problem it's not with ubiquity, but with
the package console-setup.
When installing it (and the daily image has the same problem)
/etc/default/keyboard it's not a file with the keyboard configuration but a
character device file.

I was trying to install the nex ubuntu version - 15.04, and ubiquity
crashes just after inserting my name and password when the message
Installing to disk appears.
$ lsb_release -rd

Workaroud: Updating to kernel 3.17 ( from here: http://kernel.ubuntu.com

I installed yesterday ksplice. In these two days it installed several updates
do my kernel.
Today after my fisrt reboot since the installation my kernel was completly
trashed.
Problems:

It appears that there's no need to backport a new version of OpenSSH. As
you can see here: http://www.openssh.com/txt/cbc.adv you only need to
add this line:
Ciphers aes128-ctr,aes256-ctr,arcfour256,arcfour,aes128-cbc,aes256-cbc
to ssh_config and sshd_config and restart the daemon.

Hibernation failed! It tried to but it stopped with a blank screen and a

Just checking but the fix is updating to 2.6.24-21? If it is it won't solve the
problem in every system.
I have a few machines with a Asrock motherboard with this chipset and updating
to this kernel version won't work. Neither does the option pci=nomsi.
Any ideas?

I had firefox open (1 tab: gmail) and I was doing a dist-upgrade from a
gnome-terminal.
I had not touch on NetworkManager on the last few hours. It was connected to an
open wireless network.

Answering my own question :)
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
Menu System -> Preferences -> Advanced Desktop Effects Settings
Make sure Window Decoration is selected (and Desktop Cube and Rotate
Cube if you want them)
Now everything should be working :)
