I can't seem to build from SVN STABLE on Hardy, there are many dependencies missing and commenting out where it fails to configure isn't helping and the package is clearly installed that it's calling for. I was never able to get it to work in Ubuntu and have not used OpenSUSE since Hardy Alpha 5.

I'm not sure if Novell/Suse issued a patch for this, but openSUSE is the ONLY distro than this does not effect. I'm not sure a patch can be pulled from that but it works with no regression or problems. I know Gentoo pushed a patch in their build, but I have not used that distro in some time. --
