The system I used is qemu/kvm and 10GB virtual hard disk to play with
the new ZFS root feature. After selected the ZFS feature then the
installer crashed. The ISO I used was downloaded from

Although the GUI doesn't work for Mutiny, if you want to change layout, you can
use command line as below:
$ mate-tweak --layout mutiny
To switch to Mutiny layout.

I found mc display corruption only occurs in gnome-terminal & other
libvte related terminal programs. If I change to konsole and run mc or
aptitude, the corruption disappeared.

This is similar to Bug #324728, occurs in jaunty. My locale is
zh_TW.UTF-8, and desktop is gnome. When I use aptitude in gnome-
terminal, the display would corrupt when I press F10 to display menu, as
shown in the attached pic.

I've tested Herd 4, same bug still remain there. In addtion, I found if
one choose "Chinese (Simplified)" (a kind of Chinese use by PRC), same
bug will show-up.
