I updated yesterday (I think), and after a reboot today all extensions
were disabled.
I went to the gnome-shell extensions website, ticked to enable my
extension and it toggled on. The extensions did not seem to work. I
reloaded the page and they are off again. I clicked enab

plus or directly via the miniDP causes a kernel panic. The crash is not
always immediate, if the internal screen is disabled when docked, then
the external screen may work, though undocking and docking a sec

noticed that plugging into a 4k tv via the builtin mini display port
also causes the crash, though not always.

I think I also have the same iisue on an E7470 running 16.04. I can make
the external screen work through DP of the dock if I disable the
internal one, but trying to enable both either crashes instantly or
shortly after the mouse focuses on the exte
surprised this is still here in lubuntu 14.04.3

I just want to add that having installed munin in 14.04 I had to perform
the change in #5 to make it work. Can we get this into the bas package,
it seems to have been around for some time now and it took me some time

completely killed the upgrade. I simply purged the samba4 package and
reinstalled, but a non-technical user would be completely stumped and

It is not possible to test this on the latest development image as the
nouveau driver does not resume (desktop completely locks up), and the
e1000e problem is intermittent, so a full reboot between tests is
infeasible.
Is there any debug info that I can gather to assist here? Any logs or

For reference I tried booting the latest mainline kernel, and apart from
screwing up unity (see bug 1215828) it suspended once, then failed to resume.
There was a reason I started using the nvidia driver, and that is because the
nouveau one fails to resume. So testing on that won't be possible.

Strangely, I accidentally booted a 3.2 kernel this morning and it is

It appears that my 1.86GHz Intel Core2 CPU is only running at 700Mhz.
The attached files show (in /proc/cpu) that the cpu is actually a
1.86Ghz, but cpufreq only lets me set a maximum of 700mhz. I am running
precise amd64 on a 3.2.0-20-generic kernel, though the same was seen

Trying to use myunity to disable the seconds launcher bar on my second
screen, it pops up message saying that Unity is running in 2d mode, and
most options are greyed out.
I believe unity is in 3d mode because neither the user or system lightdm
config mentions 2d, and because

The pane/window in rhythmbox which shows related artist information (see

I use this for our corporate reprepro repository with several hundred packages
and find it very useful to be able to show our users what has changed in a
package before they install the updates.
reprepro does not extract the files itself, I do it manually as part of my
repository build code

aptitude full-upgrade and the icons have disappeared - xchat now uses the unity
launcher bar on the side to notify the user of something, rather than at the
top.
Empathy also appears to be properly now in the messaging status bar.

I should clarify that the icons disappear when the cursor exists the top
bar, not when the cursor enters the top bar. They also reappear when the
cursor exists the top bar.

I have several status icons on the top bar, which disappear if I move my
cursor to the status bar and back out again. They then reappear if I
move the cursor back to the top and away again.
It does not seem to relate to the title of my application showing in the
top bar, nor
Attached is my log of failing to install nspluginwrapper. I have several
plugins in the mozilla plugins dir, and I would prefer to not have to remove
them:

Similar problem for me. After updating to the 2.6.32-33-generic-pae kernel my
intel wireless stopped working. dmesg shows:

The file seems to be stored as a static const char[] in
kdm/kfrontend/genkdmconf.c in the source package.
None of the patches in debian/patches seem to change this area of the
file. I can't find any source control for the source package, so I
assume that these patches are not in any.
