4.3.0 beta, which will soon be 4.4.0 stable with little change. There's
also 4.2.0 stable that is much newer than version 3.9.
Ubuntu has a "no rolling release policy," so its repositories will not

I see you are using the old BleachBit 1.10. Please note that Ubuntu
repositories often have ancient versions of BleachBit because they do
not update them except with a new Ubuntu release. The latest Ubuntu
release will have a new version of BleachBit, but the older Ubuntu
versions have old versions
BleachBit 1.17 (beta) switched from su-to-root (from the menu package)
to pkexec, and I hope to soon release it as BleachBit 2.0 (final). This
may resolve this issue too.
This change was committed to the BleachBit git repository back in
October (2016).

BleachBit, you can have apt-get reinstall the affected package to
undelete the files.
Also if you can figure out which files should not be deleted, I can work

On my system BleachBit deletes ~/.cache/mozilla too, but it doesn't
affect Firefox's ability to startup. I just tried it on another Ubuntu
system, and Firefox works OK after the directory is removed.

Years ago I used LVM a little, but I am not familar with it---especially
with regards to swap. To find out how big the swap file is, BleachBit is
expecting to find /dev/mapper/lubuntu-swap_1 in /proc/swaps, but the
only device there is /dev/dm-1. Are these somehow synonymous?

If you want to look for more, try this command (after cleaning
localizations in BleachBit)
find /usr | pcregrep -i '\bes\b'
where es is Spanish. If you have another language installed, use it
instead (say, de for German).

rajesh : Can you reproduce this? I can't.
It is in the code that displays a popup-style message. One way to
reproduce is this: preview System - Localizations (or anything else
that takes 20+ seconds). Before it is done, minimize the window. Then,
you should see a popup that BleachBit is fini
This looks like it isn't actually in BleachBit: it's in some dependency
like GTK+. Can it be reproduced with the latest Ubuntu updates?

I did 'rm -rf ~/.config/bleachbit' (which should reset BleachBit to a
pristine state) but couldn't reproduce this.
