I can confirm the usbhid setting addresses the problem for me (Logitech G500). It was also possible to change while the compiz desktop was running by "echo 4 > /sys/module/usbhid/parameters/mousepoll" as root, then unplugging and replugging the mouse. -- You received this bug notification because

It may only be a warning to you, but it's an issue that effects my productivity. Here's an example: I'll run some command (for example, grep) that produces a list of files, then go to edit them with gvim oops, between this and 402188, my grep output has now scrolled off the top of the screen.
