Yup still an issue here. As stated before, I can post to facebook
without issue but cannot see any of the feeds back to my gwibber. The
account setup seems to not take for the facebook info but evidently it
does, just don't get any feedback from facebook. "poop". I hate
dealing with the bro
I also have had random crashes on my Ubuntu 12.04 32bit machine, seems
to only happen when running a movie with movieplayer, with VLC or when
google earth is in use... no other situations seem to reproduce the
crash in which the screen goes totally scrambled, no keyboard or mouse
control... as stat
I'm in the same boat. Here's what lspci says about my card:
Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated
Graphics Controller
This is on a Dell Studio 1535 if it helps.

It should look like the output of:

I'd venture that Mark's experience confirms my theory that the problem
stems from the additional configuration lines not making it in to
/etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf.
When are those lines supposed to be automatically entered in to that
file?

Hmm... ok follow up. It seems that after i ran:
sudo mdadm -Es | grep md1 >> /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf
and rebooted the raid came back on it's own. md0 was already in
mdadm.conf. Is it that simple?

Ok. I know this issue is really old. But I just wanted to say thanks to
everyone for getting some solutions.
I built my second (key I think) mirrored array last night and moved a
bunch of stuff over. After rebooting, the second (new) raid was gone and
I thought I had lost it all.
The loop worked
I'm also experiencing this on my Dell Studio 15 laptop with Jaunty RC.
It has an Intel video card (model 965? I think).
