Sound has stopped working again, is there anything I can do to help
troubleshoot this?

Sound has started working again, haven't done anything related to sound

I installed Fiesty Fawn on this laptop (Compaq V3000) yesterday, sound
was fully working and sounded great. Could control sound levels with the
buttons on the laptop (volume up/down/mute buttons) with no
configuration needed. Today sound has myseriously stopped working,
