1814:0301 Ralink wifi problem in dual boot under Ubuntu 12.04
To
Problem solved :
1) gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub
2) Change line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
to add : pnpbios=off acpi=force irqpoll
The line is now :
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash pnpbios=off acpi=force irqpoll"
Save and quit gedit
3) sudo update-grub
4) restart the

the result of command "uname -r" is :
blas@ubuntu:~$ uname -r
3.5.0-030500rc6-generic
blas@ubuntu:~$
I suppose Ubuntu is runnig with the new kernel. I am Ok ?
If is OK I have still the same problem.

But at the end of dpkg I have :
Found Windows Vista (loader) on /dev/sda1
Skipping Windows Vista (loader) on Wubi system
Result I don't have in a boot menu :
Ubuntu Intrepid, kernel 2.6.27-02062715-generic
Can'I change the Windows Vista (loader) to test mailine kernel ?
