I am using a password-less private cert and I have the same problem as
Jim, problem is, providing a random password doesn't do the trick for me
because I run into yet-another-bug kind of problem: the password gets
discarded i.e. when i get back to the configuration dialog it's no
longer there... Br
still having this problem on karmic, the gauge costantly reads 54.2 F.
Besides, I wonder why the temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit degrees
instead of Celsius.

actually, things look even worse on karmic, grub2 first prints a sort of
text-based splash screen -> clearscreen -> info about the kernel image
getting booted -> clear screen -> the "loading please wait" message is
displayed (this last message is spawned from some script built in the
initrd though
the amount of tech stuff displayed at boot time is still intimidating, I
am sorry if I might sound pedantic but this bug report I filed a while

printer.glade file and actually there's some inconsitency in my opinion
there: frame27 and frame28, as opposed to frame 25 and 26, have the
expand and fill flag set to "yes". Changing them to "no" leads to a more
aesthetically

i have an fstab entry pointing to a nfs share but kde is totally unable
to hand it properly... I am able to mount the folder through the
command line issuing a simple "mount /media/share" but kde is unable to
do any of the following:
- detect whether the nfs folder is mounte

particular i can change my kerberos password through the /usr/bin/passwd

I too believed that the problem lied with my mic, but i then realized
the problem actually lies with the sound recorded in Gnome. The problem
is simple: you can't play back the audio stream unless it's saved first,
