This happens to me too, on Oneiric. I notice the bug seems to affect
several Norwegian users, so I tried sudo LANG=en_EN.utf8 synaptic and
the problem went away. So the developers might look into that...

It's been nearly three years, and hardinfo still doesn't list USB
devices. What gives? Any news? I would assume it's rivial as lsusb
listet them properly.

I, too, have exactly the same issue as Thomas Nordstrøm. To put it
bluntly, Ubuntu One has never worked at a level even close to a
professional product, and I now understand it probably never will.
