Yes, this is still an issue. I am not able to disable/enable touch pad
at all with keys. The indicator light also doesnt glow.

Yesterday I was trying to solve some other problem, following steps
given on this page http://www.ivegotavirus.com/blog/2011/11/06/how-to-

Soon after step 3) sudo apt-get install bumblebee, fan started working
fine.
Is this related? Now fan works fine.
This is making pidgin unusable. Either never close chat/conversation
windows or always restart pidgin after closing the window.

I installed 3.0.0.11-18 and ran 'sudo modprobe -r btusb' after this (as
I could not use mouse or touch pad) I ran 'sudo pm-suspend'. It
suspended nicely and woke up nicely.

I tried the test kernel that you gave. It crashed, I am attaching the
