Are you saying that you got the radeon driver to work? How so? My
graphics card is no longer supported by AMD, so I can't install the
proprietary driver, but I still get the virtual size limitation using
the radeon driver. I can set the dual monitors using xrandr, but that
messes up the desktop and

this "upstream" (What does that mean?)? I don't mean to rush you guys
because you have a lot of work to do and you are doing a great job! I am

I think it might be the Ralink drivers. I have 2 systems running Ubuntu
10.04, my desktop and laptop. My laptop has an Intel Wireless chipset,
while my desktop has a Ralink chipset. My laptop works perfectly, but my
desktop cannot connect whatsoever. I have tried using Network Manager
and wicd, but

I just updated my brother's computer to Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) and it
seems to be a problem with the graphics. When I boot it up, the screen
flashes and chows a command line login screen. I can't login because it
won't recognize the keystrokes, but when I boot in recovery mode,
