Same problem. How to avoid the ".added" extensions as my torrent files
are on an external hard drive that I use from two OS.

If a fix has been released then it didn't fix the EATING all the CPU and
MEMORY problem by ubuntuone-syncdaemon.
Here's my attached Screenshot of what I am syncing in UbuntuOne and none
of these seems to be owned by root, except sources.list for which I have
changed permision.

default search as "google.com" rather than "google.co.in.". Even if I
change it manually it reverts back to default upon update. However, this
is not the case with other browsers. T

Going back to default ubuntu firefox, that would be 3.5.8. I will not
try this again and I won't be able to update on this bug report. However
I was able to run firefox from terminal by command:
/usr/bin/firefox-3.6/firefox so it must have been a linking issue but
nevertheless it's lame not to have
actually i was trying to install 3.6 over 3.5.8 using mozilla-stable PPA
so it may not actually be a firefox(Ubuntu) bug

same error though got nothing with other tools in windows like HDDLife
