At this point is curious how another windows can gain blur like conky but the
unity launcher is no way to add a blur effect.

Compiz offer an option to blur transparent objects like docks or "any"... for
compiz Unity Launcher is a Dock but the blur effect in unity (launcher, panel)
is broken.
Also if you edit the unity.css theme to transparent colors the blur still fails.
