If a LyX document is linked from a BibTeX entry in JabRef (requires you
to define LyX as a new external file type, with application set to
"lyx"), you can start LyX by clicking on the file icon in JabRef.
However, in this case LyX appears with a JabRef icon in the Unity dock.
After a succesfull upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 I'm having this issue -
no timeout line - also. GRUB2 displays in all its glory but will
probably sit there untill Judgment Day. One has to choose an OS (I have
a dual boot W7/U10.10 64b) and manually "Enter", after that the chosen
OS boots just fine.
pulseaudio worked fine. Then it crashed (?) at some point. There was no sound.
I rebooted. No sound. I moved away .pulse* files and rebooted. Still no sound.
Tested speaker, works fine. Looked at System->Preferences->Sound, everything
looks as it should, including applications tabs which shows ap

as indicated in your message. IT WORKS!! I have now a fully working SX
410 (hurray!)
