Public bug reported:
While my laptop is equipped with an internal 5.1 system (including the
"Tuba" subwoofer), only two internal speakers are working after upgrade
to 12.04.
I have added these three lines in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf :
default-sample-format = s16le
default-sample-rate = 48000

Public bug reported:
After upgrading from Oneiric to Precise, I realized that the icon set
from LibreOffice has been reverted to Tango instead of the Human icon
set I was using before the upgrade.
No reason to dramatize but I know developers like to track every problem
that occurs during upgrade
This bug just appears for me today after I performed the automatic upgrade from
Oneiric to Precise.
I didn't have it when I was running Oneiric.
Compiz version : 0.9.7.6
My NVIDIA card is a GeForce 9600M GS and I am running the 295.40 nvidia
drivers.

In my case, I have found this bug to be connected to vsync.
After looking in details on this webpage
(http://forum.compiz.org/viewtopic.php?t=12048), I made different trials
while enabling vsync from nvidia-settings or from compiz-settings-
manager or from both.
So far, I have only enabled compiz

This was working fine
I also have a similar problem (I am running oneiric) and experienced it
while using either the drivers 280.13 or the drivers from the 285 series
provided by the ubuntu-x-swat.
Everything was totally fine, then, suddenly, I fired the dash, my screen
blinked and I started to get terrible problems wi
I found the bug #650539 displaying very similar features to the one I reported
despite never being reported for Natty.
I tried the last workaround suggested in comment #151 of this bug :
sudo apt-get remove xfs
And the crashes disappeared. I can now run all the problematic
applications without p
