there was never a qtermwidged-l10n package - have a look at lxqt-l10n -
there was a qterminal-l10n package, the widget package was planned. So
the only thing that is messed up is Ubuntu - and the packaging is marked
as $fooubuntu - but the recommendation to a package that not exist in
debian is a n
Plain wrong - as long the user don't descide otherwise - all language
packages are recommended, the default is: install-recommends -- so if a
user knows better and do an `apt install --no-install-recommends $foo`
one get exactly what one want.

not, there is only the brightness control available.

As i wrote - Ubuntu should update the repositories to the latest
release. Some packages are automagically directly updated from debian,
the others seems to have patches and other things that prevent automatic
updates for Disco.

experienced. It's not a bug - thats exactly the reason why using
graphical applications with sudo is discouraged. To fix:

< 0.13 not relevant for cosmic - libfm-qt and pcmanfm-qt got heavy
modifications for 0.13 so most of the 0.12.0 bugs are not relevant for

To put it straight: A "cross upgrade" from LXDE to LXQt is not
recommended (with my upstream and debian hat on) - the result will be a

connections - so you should purge the one you don't like. L-next is

* Right now there are two daemons for network handling activated
(network-manager and connman). Both managers come with a ui - nm-applet and
cmst. So purging connman might be a good idea - or just drop ne
0.9.0+20150723-1 -- if one would have a look back one will see that this
is one of the very first versions of the package - i guess we created
that one in Heidelberg at the Debconf. So it is all but not stable nor
supported. If Ubuntu have it in it's LTS repos - bad luck. Shouldn't be

configuration file is within the search path with the xdg-patch applied

would be /etc/xdg/lxqt/$foo and /etc/$foo - the
