Got the same issue on 5.2 5.3 and 5.4 rc kernels.
The BT part of my Intel 8265 wifi/BT card of my matebook D14 laptop is kicked
out after a few minutes of use with a logitech anywhere mx 2s mouse.
Only a hard power off resolve the issue. reboot does not revive the
adapter.

The XFCE4's maintainer claimed to have merged the patch for this bug here:
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11107#c67 on 2016-08-12.
A new version of xfce-settings (4.12.1) has been released on 2016-09-15
so we can assume that the fix is integrated in the release.

I did a small mistake on my compiling instruction above, replace
./configure by ./autogen.sh and it should work.

I have exactly the same issue on 15.10 with an intel card.
philmmanjaro on github has published a patch to solve the issue. Just applies
the patch on xfce 4.12 source code
The workaround to fix this is the following:
$> sudo apt-get install xfce4-dev-tools libexo-1-dev libgarcon-1-0-dev
