I no longer has access to this hardware, so I don't know. I think that
12.04 did not had this problem, bit I can' remember exactly.

Only one resolution is available, 1280x1024, 60 Hz, which is not optimal
resolution for this monitor, Samtron 55B.
DDC and EDID show bigger list of resolutions. Error appeared after upgrading to
Ubuntu 10.11 from 10.04. Second upgrade, to 11.11 did not change anything.
