Public bug reported:
New release uses gtk3 instead of gtk2 and fixes a bunch of issues
including the gcc-6 incompatibility reported with Debian bug 811993.

Updated to build 3.12.11-0ubuntu1.15.04.1 and successfully sent an email
with 0.5MB attachment, which would have failed with the unpatched
version before. So from my point of view the fix works as expected.

Unfortunately I just noticed that I am affected by this, too. Rebuilding
evolution-data-server_3.12.11-0ubuntu1 with the patch provided by James
does indeed fix the error. Please consider releasing an updated libcamel
package with the fix applied - claiming to have sent email that has not

Sorry, forgot to add the Fedora patch before hitting 'Post'. The patch
is identical to the git commit referred by James.

OK, I've traced this down to the XGrabPointer() call, this is what
triggers the 'BadAccess' error. Unfortunately according to its man page
XGrabPointer() should not fail with 'BadAccess', at least it is not
