Public bug reported:
I've been messing around with the daily builds of ubuntu22 recently and
I've been running puppet. For the most part puppet works, but when
trying to set a symbolic link as such:
file { "/tmp/foo":
ensure => link,
target => "/tmp/bar",
}
I get the following error:

Thanks Yulianto (sehari24jam)!!! I've been trolling for this issue, as I
have this problem all the time logging remotely into a machine that has
a local GUI, but rarely another user logged in.
Of course, this is an annoying issue as well.
Thanks!!

I posted it. Fixing it would take a major rewrite of Xorg, so the workaround is
the best option for those who have this issue. I just moved the position of my
monitor to fix my mouse issue.

Is there any progress being made on this? It's quite an annoying bug.
The workaround doesn't work for me because Cinnamon will let my mouse
travel freely outside my monitor while using it. (This makes it
impossible to have hidden panels as my mouse just flys past them.)

I upgraded to 10.04 and noticed that python-hulahop package is nowhere to be
found. This package used to be available in previous versions, and according to
google it was supposed to be available in 10.04 too until recently:
