Another workaround (i've posted it too for #982706) is killing compiz with -1:

As workaround just kill your compiz with HUP:

Still present in release.
After restarting xserver described bug disappears. (gdm restart, logout/login
etc).
Also, server flags like DontVTSwitch don't make any changes (again) until
xserver is restarted.
Is there a way to fix it? It is really pissing out :(
