Hi,
After updating to kernel 4.2.0.30 it freezes after login or in the login screen
if I wait for a few seconds.
I have Ubuntu 14.04.4 on HP Elitebook 850 G1 (AMD card).
I rolled back to kernel 4.2.0.27 and the problem is gone.

Same problem here on Ubuntu 8.10. I think that this problem was caused
by an update of cups (this week). Please note that I have intrepid-
proposed repository enabled. I have attached ny cupsd.conf as well.

Today, this error showed up (the first time ever) after restart. I have
just installed the latest updates, which required to restart the system
(because of 2.6.24-21-generic update). My system is a HP 8510p running

This seems to take longer than in the past. Each
The "splash" problem showed up after I have switched the swap from a partition
to a file. I have tried updating fstab and resume using the UUID associated to
the swap file.
Then, I have cleared resume file, but still, the problem was not fixed.
