I had a functioning 19.04 system joined to the domain, and after
upgrading it was unable to talk to the domain. This breaks existing
systems and is still an issue.

When I try to add nomodeset on the 4.10.0-35-generic kernel, my laptop freezes
on the disk encryption screen. I tried it with a usb3 dock and hdmi monitor
attached and without any peripherals.

Can confirm on Dell XPS 15 with 4.10.0-26. This is also the same issue
