I agree with Mattia. I am trying to install a .deb from http://mein-
neues-blog.de/xplanetFX/, and when it opens in Software, pressing the
Install button does nothing. No error message is popped up. This is

I am experiencing this bug too, but I use pop3 for all my accounts
instead of imap, and all of my accounts use the "inbox for this server's
account". The envelope indicator icon does not change, nor does the
unity icon show an unread count. Ubuntu 11.10, Thunderbird 8.

I just tried arcterex's method with Thunderbird 7.0.1, and then sent
myself a test message to see if the indicator would change when the
email arrived, but it still did not work. Perhaps the problem lay in the
fact I did not get a "setup mail" message in the indicator or elsewhere.

A bug I had submitted was marked a duplicate of this one, though I had a
different problem. When editing the year field, attempting to change the
year to a Holocene Era year by adding a "1" at the beginning, the "1" is
automatically deleted when you click out of the year field.

I am experiencing this bug in Maverick. I'm not using the Pidgin
plugin, nor streaming audio over the internet. Sometimes Rhythmbox will
play my playlist for approx. 4 hours before freezing, other times it's

did not happen to me in 10.04 however. I have 5 workplaces, I set
boincview.exe in the 5th workplace, then switch to another workplace,
and boincview.exe disappears, yet the program icon remains in the task
bar to indicate it's
