By the way i actually noticed some weird flickering in the ui of the .11
build when using 470 driver, i didthink much of it but, This is a refrence
to what the developers said about the last patched version was .8 and
there's no way to tell if all modules work with .11 or not.
So It's probably wis
other distros have the support just like the .11 and older do. In other
words other distros aren't up to date with latest features.
There seem to be a contradiction between the new features and the older
drivers.
I could be wrong but i don't think that it's a matter of developers not
wanting to s

While booting press advanced and choose the .11 build. After you boot up
run the command they mentioned above to remove the .14 build and reboot
your system and never update or upgrade.
This will lock you in the last kernel build that run 470 driver.

If you guys aren't sure that it's uninstallable then you shouldn't condemn
it.
But still Daniel are sure that you're using the gpu. The gpu that i have
doesn't work with anything unless on ubuntu 20 on some old versions of

This should've been done since Ubuntu 20. People don't understand that 470
doesn't run anything since Ubuntu 20 even the language models don't run on
it maybe some games but nothing hard core. People think that there's an
impact on the performance but there's not, switch to nouveau xorg driver
and
Why don't you guys make it so if nvidia module build fails, you
automatically switch to xorg driver and notify the user of the change.
I mean it's either roll back the update when build fail or switch to xorg.
But crashing the entire system isn't saving face.
This is mainly what we all trying to

It's possible that if any module build failure is raised they can add the
command to remove the latest kernal build and out put the failure error
with the name of the module that failed.

Just cause it's open source doesn't mean we can't structure ourselves
properly and get the best out of the available talents and resources.

Don't worry man, they'll fix it eventually but these things takes time.
Plus there's always the possibility that there's nothing in their hands and
its nvidia's doing to make us buy new hardware. The 470 driver is too old
now about a decade old, so i wouldn't put it past them. Nvidia has a bad
