I think this is a duplicate of bug #152102. It is a slightly different
chipset, but they use the same driver.

I have been having the same problem as well, and it seem to be pretty
well documented in the Ubuntu Forums. Reic, where did you get the
windows driver you are using? I can't seem to find one that works for
me. There are a lot links for the 8185 and 8187 drivers, but that
doesn't recognize my har
