Running Xubuntu 24.04, and wanting GNOME Software Center for ease of
use, I noticed it was light, while the rest of the desktop was dark.
Some investigation later showed that Xubuntu is missing a configuration
file for xdg-desktop-portal that makes it use the xdg-desktop-port

I'll try the graphical import function and report back.
Anyway, I've followed these steps to backup Evolution as usual:
Step 1:
Shutdown evolution and gconftool-2:
$ gconftool-2 --shutdown
$ evolution –force-shutdown

I've followed an article posted in the Ubuntu Wiki to backup Evolution
data, using the backup afterwards to restore Evolution. This worked fine
for previous Evolution versions, but restoring data from an older
Evolution version to Evolution 2.9.
