I've just confirmed this. It happens with some "rare" or unsual apps.
And it's important in the chemistry section apps (gElemental, f.ex.). I
need to try it with other environments, like XFCE.

Your pastebin is not related with the icon sizes. I'm aware of the
lxpanel errors, because it's "intentional" for tweaking the new scroll,
until find a "cleaner" solution, but can't anyway affect to the menu

controls that work on Windows platform just recompiled on Linux
(dropping those UI lirbaries in favour of standard XDG ones). Test it

Evince's behaviour is the same as other apps, launched from Unity or
from LXPanel. This bug was unsolved due to next migration of theme
engine usage on Precise. I highly recommend you to update your system as
soon as possible. Lubuntu does not use Adwaita engine anymore. on 12.04

Is this the LTSP login manager? Lubuntu already has its own theme on
every login manager it ships, including the new LightDM version for
Precise Pangolin, or its predecesor LXDM.

Sorry, but the GTK2 part of the theme doesn't have that line on the
gtkrc file. And remember that now Oneiric uses Clearlooks as engine, not
Murruine. Another point is that this bug, if it happens to some machines
(not mine) will be superseeded on this version, because it works fine on
Precise.

you can add more cursor themes from gnome-look.org and use them with
LxAppearance.

It doesn't work, because it's not enabled by default. You need to modify
the source and re-compile. The options are inside the code, it's
annoying. But it's set like that for compatibility. So, we cannot access
the user list for the moment. And as I suppose we're going to switch to
LightDM, so this
Industrial is the default theme and remains as part of the LXDM file /
folder structure, and it's here because of its port from GDM. But the
theme used is, of course, Lubuntu. You can add as many as you want.
You can read this if you want information on how to change or add themes
to your system:
I'm not sure, but I think that's the original Dropbox from inside the
DEB. It was adapted for Unity and Ambiance / Radiance themes, so it may
be a "bug" for Dropbox itslef.

I think this only affect progress bars. But I've noticed Fedora 15 and
16 have a problem with this. Murrine is being compiled bad with this
option (maybe a bug in Murrine). We need to test it with other Murrine
themes, like Elementary. If problem persist we'll have to take the
decision about remove

I don't really how to measure this. But I've tested (with two terminals)
that my system uses near 2% CPU when iddle, and lxtask adds up to 8%
more. But I think it's normal. I can't reproduce your settings.

I don't really know (for now). But using a task / process manager
increases the CPU usage a lot, because of the continuous scanning of
threads in RAM. Try gnome-system-monitor and you'll see your CPU usage
increasing up to 100%. If problem persists without using monitors the
it's another problem. T

Lubuntu (Lucid based) crashes too. When opening any GTK application and
having a window open with an SVG (yes, with bitmaps) it crashes every
app. But it seems the rendering engine of pcmanfm2 is a bit more
resistent than Thunar or Nautilus ones.
So, is it a gnome-thumbmnailer problem?
