Trying to launch playonlinux on a Ubuntu 25.04 system with Python 3.13
(upgraded system w/playonlinux installed pre-upgrade), it crashes on
launch. Removing and reinstalling via apt did not affect the behavior.

When experiencing the issue over the last couple of weeks, it seems as
if the suggested workaround command ($ killall gvfsd-trash) makes the
issue go away. (Next time I click on the nautilus icon after running the
command it opens instantly.)

year. On my first attempt, the solution proposed in #3 make nautilus
open instantly (after clicking the icon once more).

"Solved" by using the workaround:
sudo apt-get install libc++1/hirsute

Almost every time I try to launch Nautilus – whether via the panel, via
the terminal, or by clicking "Open" buttons in programs – it takes close
to 1 minute to launch. I have timed it using a watch, and it seems to
take between 30 seconds and 1 minute from the relevant button

I experience the same issue as described here, and have for several
weeks, but the bug referred to seems to concern a very different issue.

Just upgraded to Ubuntu Hardy Alpha 5, and after applying all updates
available, all sound is crackling and snapping. Used to work fine in
Feisty.
I tried reinstalling by doing sudo apt-get remove --purge alsa-base, and
then reinstalled, but to no luck.

Really strange, but it might just be a problem with my gear then. I get
a very noticable slowdown even with such small files. Anyway, it isnt
that much of a problem just closing the destination.

Slow moving of (media) files when viewing the target folder

the move is really slow, but if I close the target folder, it finish
