Built in ppa:vpa1977/plusone2[1], autopkgtests pass, testcase passes.
We need to remove reference to CLEVIS_FORCE_FIPS_MODE as it is replaced
by the check of fips_enabled file.
Nit: if fips_enabled file will ever contains something like "on" or "yes" the
script will be broken.
On the other hand
I will mention that this problem started appearing after I updated my
desktop on 2/18.
I tried backleveling via timeshift to my backup from 11/19/2024, but the
issue persisted so I updated everything again.

I have been experiencing the same issue. I have a 1 day old laptop (ASUS
Zenbook S 14) which I install Ubuntu on, and I am experiencing frequent
repetitions of keys. I have not tracked how frequently or which keys as
