Found root as owner. Used CLI to change both group and owner separately and

took me back to the previous, functioning version of chromium.
snap refresh --hold=24h chromium

After doing some further checking it seems this bug has been fixed in
6.10-rc2 (which is why after installing 6.10-rc4 it started working).
Maybe the fix from 6.10-rc2 could be backported?
