Still happens on my Lenovo Thinkpad P50.
When shutting down, I have to hold down the power button for five
seconds to get it to shut down completely, even though the external red
LED (the dot of the "i" in "Thinkpad" on the lid) has turned off.
I cannot restart the machine, same story as when try

A bug was found and fixed with a recent update to the checkbox test for
this that was causing some formatting problems in the netplan yaml.
While we're waiting for the packages to update, we reran these tests on
rpi400 and cm4l with the previous good version of checkbox and all but
the wpa 802.11n
I forgot to add I am using a framework 16 with a Ryzen 7 7840HS.
I created a request for help on the framework forum and another person
had the same issue.

I tested following
1. In a VM install Ubuntu 24.10 with LVM with encryption
2. Install dracut afterwards: sudo apt install dracut
3. Add rd.shell to the boot arguments
4. Reboot
It booted successfully. This was using dracut 102-3ubuntu2.

I prepared a v3.9.22 in Jammy and have ran the autopkgtest, I am seeing
a failure[0] with the new rpc test in ppc64el. I re-ran it twice so far
with the same timeout, and waiting for a third run to see the results.
