Because the default setting for the jack midi driver is "raw", the
a2jmidid can't connect to the jack midi hardware ports.
After changing the midi driver in ~/.config/jack/conf.xml to seq or none and
restarting jack the ports are exported correctly

One thing you didn't seem to try, and I think is the most likely to
work, would be:
Ctrl+Alt+F3, Ctrl+Alt+F2
because VT2 is where you want to go in the end but it might be ignored
until you switch to VT3 or higher first.

Could you open sound setting and play test sound to see if this issue happens
while playing sounds?
BTW, could you also check if it lists the same audio output devices when
the dock cable is plugged at left side and right side.

Ok.
While figuring out some solutions on my issue, I found a better solution - to
use audacity as snap..!
It worked just fine without any issue, and it's launch time is also less (only
about 4 sec. except initial launch).
Even though I will ask about this issue on forum.
