With all new Kernels from 5.0.0-16 on my HDMI monitor isn't recognized as

Dell XPS 9560, palm detection was good in previous Ubuntus, but the
update made it go really awful. Constant accidental un-minimization,
cursor jumping in text fields, etc. I have set palm detection to true in
settings, but it hasn't seemed to do anything. In previous releases

lingering. I can't seem to reproduce it yet.

Summary: After plug and unplug headphone, the internal speaker has no sound
output.
Manually clicking output device again does not recover.
Only reboot could recover from this issue.
Reproduce steps:
1. Plug headphone
2. Unplug headphone
3. Check in
Unfortunately extensions have free access to everything in the shell and
so can easily break any part of the shell.
Why this problem only affects Ubuntu is likely related to Ubuntu-
specific changes. That does not suggest those Ubuntu changes are faulty,
only different to the other distros.
Since
It sounds like Caja is trying to fulfill a role that some other
component is already registered for.
This would not be a bug in gnome-shell. You would need to find out what
other package/component is conflicting and find a way to disable or
uninstall it.

Upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04 (trusty to xenial) has already been fixed a
