FYI, only the upstream (Naver Corp) can fix it, because "fixing" it by

Surely, it's still a question for me, that ovirt-guest-agent really can
work without the GUI-oriented usermode package. I've created a "fake"
usermode package just to provide the dependency and everything seems to

Same problem here, HP Laptop 14-bp0xx and Ubuntu 18.04.
Installed the v4.18-rc1 (Linux hp 4.18.0-041800rc1-generic #201806162031 SMP
Sun Jun 17 00:34:22 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux), and the problems
seems fixed.

Seems that sometimes pScreen pointer in miPointerSetPosition() is null.
In the attached crash report, the crash is happening here:
