- but does not get the auth to work
What gets the Auth to work is the explicit locale, but that it did

The fix should not ever something like this.
There is reason why dnsmasq is installed on these machines.
This is a workaround by not good.

Anastasia asked me to take a look at this. I'm still not sure what the
underlying cause is, but here is some of what I've discovered so far.
1. There has been a change in policykit-1 that sounds like it might be
relevant. Namely:

I can confirm this bug Just noticed it. Seem's like a PRETTY SEVERE
security risk Not sure why this hasnt been fixed. The issue was
reported on 7/7/16 and its now 4/19/17. I'm wondering who allowed this
into the wild to begin with??? Your fired... PERIOD! An LTS release is
NOT SUPPOSE TO BE

Well any window any time... right click, close laptop lid. Wait for
suspend, re-open. NO LOCK SCREEN, EVER! NO MATTER HOW MANY TIME YOU DO
IT... EVERYTIME!!!

multitouch touchpad gestures to actions) will not recognize three and
four finger multitouch gestures from my elantech touchpad. I think this
is related to the upgrade of xserver-xorg-input-synaptics to vers

the Gaming K7 with F3 BIOS and this still happens unless the offending
code is compiled out.

This Bug is found on Ubuntu 16.04 with fwupdate 0.5-2ubuntu4, but not found on
Ubuntu 17.04 with fwupdate 9-1. Most of the customers are using 16.04 based
